DESCRIPTION:We have been invited to host an event on the Castle Green Hereford\, the site of the original castle. This year is the 370th anniversary of the siege of Hereford by a Scottish army 15\,000 strong led by Alexander Leslie\, First Earl of Leven fighting for Parliament. We are re-enacting part of the siege by having canon display and then a skirmish on the Castle Green which is the original site of the castle\, and close to remaining earthworks from the siege. \nIt is a free event for the public so a good turnout is expected.
