DESCRIPTION:After a break of many years the Sealed Knot Society are delighted to be returning to this beautiful part of the country with a Battle both days and supported by a Living History Camp to include both Military and Civillian roles. \nCannon\, Pike\, Musket\, Drums and Ensigns will mass for the battle and wll make a glorious spectacle\, ideal for local photographers to capture and enjoy the challenge of composing an image that contains flames from musket fire. Local Rugby supporters will enjoy the challenge of a Pike engagement and the children will be astounded by the ‘live’ action. \nA must for visitors to the area.

DESCRIPTION:Once again Lord Saye & Seles are delighted to be returning to Pembroke Castle with a larger event  to commemorate the Siege of Pembroke 1648. The event will be concentrated within the walls of the castle\, with living history displays\, cameos and a recreation of the siege on Saturday and Sunday afternoons.

DESCRIPTION:Sir Henry Vaughnans have been invited to arrange an event at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales in Llanarthney. SA32 8HN \nCome and enjoy walking round the Living history Camp watching the various demonstrations and chatting to our re-enactors.  Meanwhile cameos will take place throughout the day\, all pertaining to life in the 17thC.\n\nAt 1pm each day a historical costume talk will take place that will explain what was worn\, how and why along with other snippets of social history of the era\,\n\nLeading up to the main Battle at 2pm\, prebattle displays will take place which will give you an insight into what to expect during the Battle itself.

SUMMARY:Claydon Estate\, Sealed Knot 50th Anniversary Event
DESCRIPTION:This August\, the Sealed Knot in its 50th Anniversary year\, will bring the sights and sounds of the English Civil War to the magnificent Claydon Estate\, the ancesteral home of the Verney family\, who were intimately connected with the war and exemplified the divisions it caused. \nOn Sunday 26th and Monday 27th August this beautiful estate will echo to the sounds of musket and cannon fire\, the steady beat of drums the charge of Cavalry and the clash of pikes. \nSet against the back-drop of the Estates’ beautiful gardens\, courtyard and All Saints Church\, a living history camp and displays will bring to life both military and civilian life in a period that shaped so much of how we live today. \nTickets are available on the day or can be booked in advance CLICK HERE. Entry includes the battle\, displays and living history camp and access to Claydon Estate Gardens. \nClaydon House is owned by the National Trust  and there is an entry charge for non members.
