Soldiers\, muskets\, pikes and drums in drill displays\, life on the living history camp and a skirmish will be all part of the weekend. Access to the site is opposite the first ‘T’ junction approx. 60m east along Vann Road from Lower Lodge Candles (not the red location marker shown on this map). Entry to the site is clearly signposted during the event \nOpen: 10.30am – 5.00pm. \nEntry and parking free. Donations welcome towards the conservation of Fernhurst Furnace. \nAn action-packed day full of living history\, crafts\, displays and activities for all ages at this unique historical location.
