DESCRIPTION:TREAT the family to a fun day out at Thame’s Summer Spectacular! \nTaking place on the eye-catching grounds at Chinnor RFC Thame between 11am-4pm across the weekend of June 18-19\, there is plenty for adults and children to enjoy. \nFrom fairground rides\, arts and crafts\, morris dancing and much more\, this is sure to be an enjoyable experience. \nAnd we haven’t even mentioned the main event as this will all be happening amidst a battle. \nBut don’t fear if you hear swords clashing\, pistols firing\, and smell gunpowder\, as The Sealed Knot are performing a re-enactment of the Road to Chalgrove Field. \nSo\, keep an eye out for John Hampden and his Parliamentarians in this English Civil War interpretation with the Royalists\, which took place nearly 380 years ago!
