DESCRIPTION:The longest standing fixture in the societies calendar\, once more members from across the country will join to support the towns Holy Holly Day celebrations . This year marks the 380th anniversary of the end of the royalist siege which saw the people of Nantwich celebrate with holly sprigs in their hats – hence Holly Holy Day. Join us from 10am for a smashing historical day out in Nantwich with music\, historical plays\, pike and musket displays\, horse parade and the all important ‘Battle on Mill Island’ at 2pm.  \nThe event marks the important society tradition of Presenting “The Rose Bowl”.
