DESCRIPTION:About this event \nHOLLY HOLY DAY NANTWICH – an English Civil War conflict in Cheshire. \nA FULL DAY OF INTERACTIVE HISTORY FOR ALL THE FAMILY 24th JANUARY 2026. \nJoin The Sealed Knot as we explore what it was like to live\, and fight during the English Civil War as we return to the town of Nantwich for our annual commemoration event in support of the Holly Holy Day Committee. \nFollow our troops through the streets of Nantwich to the town square for a commemoration ceremony then witness the spectacle of a battlefield complete with hundreds of infantry\, artillery and cavalry troops. \nLocation: Nantwich\, Cheshire. Public entrance: Mill Island CW5 5 \nEvent Opening Times. \nActivities from 10am Saturday 24th January 2026. \nPerformance Times \nThe main battle starts around 2pm. \nTicket Prices \nFamily £10 (2 adult\, 2 child) \nAdult £5 \nConcession £4 \nChild £2 \nPlease Note: Due to the nature of our displays\, loud noises from canon and musket are a common occurrence\, please bear that in mind when looking to bring small children and dogs. We always advise bringing chairs for anyone who may have mobility issues\, and ear defenders for individuals with sensitivities to loud noise.
