Trinity College Oxford

To mark 100 years since the birth Brigadier Peter Young, the founder of The Sealed Knot, you are invited to visit Trinity College on September the 12th and 13th  to step back in time to when Oxford was King Charles I’s capital during the First English Civil War of 1642-1646.

This is the first time Trinity College has opened its grounds to the public and you are invited to join us. Costumed re-enactors will bring Oxford’s past to life with: live firing muskets, authentic crafts & cooking,displays of arms and a soldiers march through the city centre.

This is a unique, fascinating & unmissable historical event for the whole family that will reveal Oxford’s hidden history!

Events on both days are:

11am – 4pm: visit our historical encampment with displays of 17th Century life

11am: soldiers in Oxford city centre

From 12.30pm: displays of arms in the grounds of Trinity College

Entrance is £3 per adult and £1 for children
