To mark 100 years since the birth Brigadier Peter Young, the founder of The Sealed Knot, you are invited to visit Trinity College on September the 12^th and 13^th to step back in time to when Oxford was King Charles I’s capital during the First English Civil War of 1642-1646.

This is the first time Trinity College has opened its grounds to the public and you are invited to join us. Costumed re-enactors will bring Oxford’s past to life with: live firing muskets, authentic crafts & cooking,displays of arms and a soldiers march through the city centre.

This is a unique, fascinating & unmissable historical event for the whole family that will reveal Oxford’s hidden history!

Events on both days are:

11am – 4pm: visit our historical encampment with displays of 17th Century life

11am: soldiers in Oxford city centre

From 12.30pm: displays of arms in the grounds of Trinity College

Entrance is £3 per adult and £1 for children
