Tattershall Castle

Let us take you back to 1643 with The Sealed Knot who will have a large ‘authentic’ camp overlooking the Castle grounds, with period cooking, games, story-telling, arms and artefacts on display where our Members will only be too happy to talk and answer questions.

During the Skirmish musketeers will be firing from the castle roof and opposing guns firing over the battle field in front of the castle, where on day one an advance party of the Marquis of Newcastle’s troops attack the castle, but are repulsed by the Parliament garrison.  On day two, with more soldiers the Royalist attack succeeds.

This is certainly educational wrapped up in entertainment and something people of all ages will enjoy.
