Once again the Royalist force of Sir Gilbert Hoghton’s Companie of Foote bring to life the 17 Century against the backdrop of this maginificent period building.

A Living History display will give visitors a chance to try on armour and clothing, watch our musket displays and sign up to fight the Companie at one of our many gatherings. So come along to this event and enjoy a day out exploring the Hall and grounds and learning a bit about our history.
